One channel features diagonal raised wooden blocks that encourage objects, sand or water to move in a zigzag pattern. This innovative design not only captivates children's attention but also promotes problem-solving and fine motor skills as they experiment with different materials moving down the channel. The raised sides ensure that the contents stay on course, minimising spills and maintaining a focused play area.

Another channel has horizontally positioned raised blocks, creating natural dams or blockages. This design allows children to explore concepts of flow and obstruction, fostering critical thinking and cause-and-effect reasoning.

Each channel is equipped with sturdy wooden stoppers underneath, designed to secure the channels on the edges of Tuff Spot Trays or similar robust surfaces. These stoppers not only prevent the channels from sliding off during use but also allow for easy setup of slopes or bridges. By placing the channels between two  of equal height, children can create exciting bridges, while different height setups introduce slopes for added complexity and fun.
