Worm Farm

Get up close and personal with nature with our Worm Farm! Perfect for incorporating into nature classrooms, this transparent, interactive resource lets children observe worms as they create intricate trails and patterns in the soil. Children will be wowed when they see what these little creatures are capable of!

Our worm farms are ideal for introducing nature concepts from an early age, as well as growing children’s understanding of the world around them. By combining learning with hands-on exploration, children can learn about the role worms play in the ecosystem and lifecycle – and even give them names.

Standing at 82cm tall and 74cm long, our worm farms are large enough for group observation, getting the whole class involved in lessons and science corner activities. This resource is the perfect stepping stone to introducing knowledge of creatures and the natural world in EYFS up to KS1 settings. Regular care is recommended to ensure long-lasting use.

Combine the worm farm with a see through planter   and  gardening tools to create an immersive gardening area where children can dig, discover, and understand the essential role worms play in keeping our gardens (and our planet!) healthy.
